A Woman’s Healthcare Journey: A Progressive Dinner Discussion
Women’s health is a lifelong journey, yet many critical topics—from maternal health to menopause—are often overlooked or misunderstood. 1 in 3 women experience complications during pregnancy, 80% of women will develop fibroids by age 50, perimenopause and menopause affect nearly half the workforce, yet only 20% of women feel adequately informed about what to expect.
The disparities in women’s healthcare are even more stark for Black women. Black women in the U.S. are three times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than white women, regardless of income or education level. Structural inequities in healthcare access, bias in treatment, and lack of education on conditions make these conversations even more urgent.
Join us for an engaging progressive dinner discussion led by Dr. Amy Tamburrino and Dr. Emily Lombard, as we explore key aspects of a woman’s healthcare journey. From prenatal care to perimenopause, menopause, and beyond, this event will provide valuable insights, practical knowledge, and a chance to connect with other professional women navigating similar stages of life.
The evening will feature two rotations, allowing you to choose the topics most relevant to you. Each session includes a short expert-led presentation, group discussions, and a curated dining experience to keep the conversation flowing.
Our goal is to create a safe and brave space to openly discuss issues that are often considered taboo in a business setting. Whether you’re planning for the future or seeking clarity on your current stage of life, this event is designed to empower you with knowledge and community.
