Dinner Program | Rethinking Leadership

At Professional Dimensions we think inclusive leadership means welcoming, respecting, and valuing different perspectives. It means encouraging people to show up as their authentic selves, bringing their own experiences and points of view to the discussion. We know that processes and outcomes are better informed through collaboration and consideration of different perspectives. Personal, organizational and community success depends on inclusive leadership.

The goal of this program is to discuss what inclusive leadership means, what it looks like and why it’s important. We want program attendees to develop a better understanding of inclusive leadership, inform them of how to put inclusive leadership into practice and how to develop inclusive leaders in their organizations.

We hope you will join us for this important conversation. 

We'll be joined by our very own PD women who have committed their lives and careers to inclusive leadership. Our panelists:

Krista Brookman
Senior Director of Diversity and Inclusion and Enterprise Women's Initiative with Northwestern Mutual. Krista is also the Chair of Marquette University's Institute for Women's Leadership (IWL) Advisory Council and has served on the Board of Milwaukee Women inc and TEMPO Milwaukee.

Bethiel Girma Holton
Programme Officer with Oak Foundation serving 40 countries worldwide addressing issues of global, social and environmental concern. Previously Bethiel led the City Year network as the National Director of Student Engagement.

Joyce Taylor
HR Director with SC Johnson, formerly serving in the corporate and NPO space in an HR capacity including Arandell, Lutheran Social Services, Baird and We Energies. Joyce has been navigating barriers to advancing inclusivity in leadership for decades, while also raising our current CEO of Professional Dimensions .
