Mentor/Mentee Program Update

Have you ever wondered how you can help one of your fellow Professional Dimensions' members? Have you been looking for guidance or a mentor, yourself?

The program connects members with one another for the purpose of offering expertise, support and assistance. Each mentee is asked to identify one goal, and the mentor aids her in attaining that goal. The program includes a kick‐off, checkpoint and closing meeting.

Some examples for considering a mentoring relationship as a mentee:

  • Are you starting a new venture and need guidance?
  • Have you been trying to get a handle on social media in the workplace?
  • Are you new to Milwaukee and need help getting connected to the right people?
  • Are you struggling with management issues and need advice?

Some examples for considering a mentoring relationship as a mentor:

  • Have you been successful in switching career paths and would be willing to share your insight?
  • Do you work in a male-dominated field and have helpful input into how to chart one's own path?
  • Have you raised a family while pursuing a career and having useful suggestions to new working moms?
The 2016/17 program is in full swing, and the next program will begin in the Fall of 2017. Registration will open in October, and the program will run from November 2017 – May 2018. More details will be sent to the membership early in the Fall.
