2009 SACAGAWEA AWARD DINNER

AND THE SACAGAWEA AWARD WINNERS ARE . . . .It's that time of the year when we ask PD members (and non-PD members) to nominate candidates for the 2009 Sacagawea Awards.  You have the opportunity to help make this year's Sacagawea Awards Dinner another successful event.

Please consider nominating a person to receive this very special award.  The nomination form describes the characteristics and criteria we are seeking in award recipients. If you know a woman who is a likely candidate, please take this opportunity to honor her by submitting her name for this prestigious award.  Nominees need not be PD members. AND THE PATHFINDER AWARD WINNER IS . . . The PD Pathfinder Award Committee is accepting nominations for the 2009 Pathfinder Award, which recognizes a program implemented by a company or organization that helps its women employees move into leadership roles.  Nominees may be for-profit or not-for-profit, and the program should be a model that other businesses or organizations can learn from and replicate.  Details appear on the nomination form.   Past award recipients are SC Johnson, Aurora Health Care, GE Healthcare, Deloitte and Touche, Quarles & Brady and KPMG, LLP.  Deadline for Pathfinder Nominations is OCTOBER 31, 2008

AND THE SACAGAWEA ARTIST IS... The Professional Dimensions Sacagawea Artist Selection Committee is looking for referrals for a Wisconsin woman artist to create the two award pieces and the third piece for the Professional Dimensions Art Collection.
