Pathfinder
Award 2008 to KPMG LLP
The Pathfinder Award recognizes businesses and
organizations that are supportive of women through programs that promote
leadership and advancement opportunities.
The KPMG LLP Women’s Advisory Board and Network of
Women programs were established to create a more compelling work
environment, enhance career opportunities, and provide community outreach
options for women across the firm.
The Women’s Advisory Board works toward increasing
overall employee awareness, encouraging accountability, and investigating
alternatives that support KPMG’s goal to attract and retain women.
The KPMG Network of Women (KNOW) translates Women’s
Advisory Board objectives into local office strategies. In 2007 local
office chapters delivered more than 260 events and programs, reaching an
audience of 9,000 women employees. The Milwaukee chapter has been active
in supporting the advancement of women through various professional
development opportunities, and internal and external networking
opportunities.
