Networking

In addition to the PD meetings each month, there are many opportunities to network with other members.

We encourage you and all PD members to "Blow Your Own Horn".  Tell us what wonderful things have happened to you – promotions, job changes, articles published, awards, honors and kudos.  You can submit your information online for inclusion on the website and the newsletter. 

In the Member News section, you’ll find out how to take advantage of our members-only email broadcast service, “PD Member News for PD Members.”  For a small fee, you can send announcements, classifieds, and other types of email messages to PD members.

You can meet with others who share similar hobbies, interests, and concerns through more than a dozen Special Interest Groups.  These groups are informal and meet when the leader and the group decide to get together.  We’re still looking for leaders for some groups. Are we missing something you’re interested in?  Consider starting a new group! 

One of our Special Interest Groups, Bon Appetit, also writes restaurant reviews after they get together for dinner.  See their latest ratings in the PD Newsletter, as well as previous reviews on the PD Website.
