About The Charitable Fund

Community Involvement

"Bringing about long-term change on critical issues facing our community through personal and monetary support”

The Charitable Fund was formed in 1985 to carry out the organization's commitment to community involvement. The focus of the Charitable Fund activities is "economic self-sufficiency of women and girls.” This is accomplished by targeting philanthropy to one organization/program for several years. This extended period of involvement serves to educate the community and PD members about the selected organization and provides the opportunity to make a significant impact. PD members support the activities of the Charitable Fund by providing hands-on support and financial contributions.
